- Leah "Cat" Cartee Green
- I am a native of Gadsden, Alabama but have lived in Ashville Alabama for the past 12 years with my husband and children. I am defiantly a right brain person, thinking out of the box, with a great sense of humor. I have always had a love for creating things and have dabbled in many different mediums; however, I began painting on canvas only a few years ago. Besides being called “Cat” all of my life, I have a rather large collection of cat paraphernalia and several live ones! So it is only natural for me to want to paint cats. I have even painted cats on my bathroom walls! I also paint other things that interest me and have painted a few commissioned pieces. The love of Art runs in my family…my mother is an artist; my Grandmother was an artist, as well as one of my aunts. I am a self taught artist and enjoy painting with my aunt weekly.
